How much are your pest services?
Pricing for our services varies by several factors – location, service type, and the pest in question. Most common residential services can be quoted over the phone. For businesses, an in-person assessment can be arranged free of charge for a detailed quote.
Do you offer pest control products I can use myself?
No, we do not. We offer services from professionals who have the expertise and knowledge necessary to solve a pest problem properly.
Are there any contract obligations?
Our Service Agreements exist to ensure coverage of specific pests in specific areas and explain guarantees. They can be canceled anytime with written notice.
How quick are your response times?
Our specialists at Franklin Pest Solutions are quick to answer the call and always strive to respond to urgent matters as fast as necessary. Our service team has flexible schedules that extend past our office hours, including Saturdays, to work with your schedule.
Does pest control service come with a guarantee?
We go above and beyond to ensure you are completely satisfied with the outcome and quality of our service. Individual pests and services come with specific guarantees, and we’re more than happy to clarify these guarantees over the phone. Of course, our best guarantee comes with our ongoing service and maintenance program, which carries a 365-day guarantee.
Do you provide service estimates?
Most of our common residential pest issues can be quoted over the phone. For commercial properties or specific types of pests that require a visual inspection, we will arrange for a specialist to come meet with you and assess the situation in person.
How long does pest control service take to complete?
The first service we provide typically takes about 45 minutes to gain familiarity with your space and develop the best plan of action. Subsequent follow-up and ongoing services are usually quicker visits. Timing of service varies based on property size and pest type.
Can I pay for my pest control services with a credit card?
Absolutely. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Automatic billing is available and encouraged. We also have an online portal where you can view your service schedule and billing history and pay for your services online.
How effective are the products used by your technicians?
All of the products we prescribe are regulated by the EPA and used according to the label. Our preventative treatments target a broad spectrum of common household pests. Additional treatments may be applied based on specific needs.
Are your products safe for children and pets?
Our services follow Integrated Pest Management methodology, using pesticides as a last resort for effective control. Our experts are very conscious of sensitive environments where children, pets, or the elderly may be present. Any concerns should be discussed prior to the service to ensure everyone is on the same page about the action plan.
Do your pest products leave behind an odor?
While our green products may have a strong citrus or wintergreen scent due to their level of essential oil concentration, the majority of our treatments are completely odorless.
Will your pest products stain or damage my property?
Our products are designed to be non-staining, ensuring the integrity and appearance of your property inside and out.
Do I need to leave home while my pest service is performed?
Unless you have certain medical conditions, you usually won’t have to leave your home at all for most general pest control services. Some services, such as flea treatments, do require all residents and pets to vacate the premises for four to six hours as a standard health and safety measure. Your technician will discuss any preparation requirements prior to treatment.
How did pests get in my home?
It depends on the type of intruder. Even a pristine home offers what most pests seek – food, water, and shelter. Pests happen. And every season brings different pests. Our licensed specialists will provide insights and prevention advice on your inspection report.
Can a technician just fog my home?
While we are capable of fogging your home, using fumigants as part of our services doesn’t align with our ethical standards or conscientious treatment practices. We proudly offer safer, cleaner, and more effective alternatives to pest control methods like fogging.
Some repellant products can end up becoming attractants to other pests. In order to best treat your home, inform your licensed technician of any foggers or other products you’ve already used in an attempt to target the problem.
Can you treat my outdoor property?
If you’re experiencing a pest problem in your yard, give our team a call and we’ll be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. All of Franklin’s technicians are state-licensed for structural pest management, and many are also licensed by the Department of Agriculture and capable of providing mosquito prevention services for your property outdoors.
How experienced are your technicians?
All of our service technicians at Franklin Pest Solutions are highly skilled experts in residential and commercial pest management solutions. Each technician is professionally licensed and certified for structural pest control in their respective service area, spanning the Indiana State Chemist and the Kentucky Department of Public Health. Some Franklin technicians are also licensed by the Department of Agriculture.
From specialized rodent, termite, and food service pest control to “right-of-way” and school treatments, our team constantly upgrades its skill set through rigorous training programs, conferences, and additional certifications.
