When TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® first reached out to ask if we would participate in their awesome campaign, Movers for Moms, we were eager and happy to oblige! Zippy, our beloved Honeybee mascot first met Truckie (the mascot of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®) as a part of the Louisville League of Mascots. Since then, we have done many philanthropic and community events together, giving back to the community we serve. Doing good things is so awesome. And being a local family business, this is something that we really value.

What is Movers for Moms?
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations across the country and internationally are collecting donations for local women’s and family shelters for delivery on Mother’s Day. The purpose of the program is to recognize those moms living in shelters this Mother’s Day by arranging delivery of small gifts for women who are victims of domestic abuse or homelessness. 2021 will mark the 14th year for the Movers for Moms® program and the ninth year it’s been a national program.
“2021 Movers for Moms® campaign where we help mothers in need in the celebration of Mother’s Day. In 2019, we collected more than 383,000 essential items which were distributed to hundreds of shelters for Mother’s Day. This year, we are collecting items for women aided by a local Louisville organization, The Healing Place.”
The donations we encourage include any/all creature comforts items: nice soaps, hair styling
products, shampoos and conditioners, pillows, blankets, slippers, robes, etc. Check out the Amazon list here.

Franklin Pest Solutions will have official Movers for Moms® drop off locations at both our New Albany, Indiana and Lafayette, Indiana branch locations.
